Outlaw Locked Down

Muskogee, OK -Outlaw Motor Speedway hosted a $5000 to win three day modified show this past weekend.  The show was delayed a day due to heavy rains in the area starting on Friday night instead of Thursday. 

Randy started with a bang finishing first in his heat race Friday night.  Then the A Main rolled around were Randy started eighth and finished 11th which kept him from qualifying for the money race on Sunday.

Saturday night Randy's attempt at qualifying for Sunday's Main Event was much more successful.  Randy finished first in his heat race.  Randy started forth in the A qualifier and was up to second by lap four.  Randy was pressuring the leader, Sharpensteen, for the lead the second half of the race.  Randy was making his move on lap fourteen when the third caution kept that from happening.  Randy finished second which locked up outside row two for Sunday's feature.

Sunday brought a 40 lap feature.  Terrry Phillips started on the pole where he took the lead.  The track locked down making for a not so exciting race. Randy was shuffled back to sixth.  In the last 10 laps Randy slid up the track and Jason Hughes was able to get under him to take sixth with Randy finishing seventh.
